Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and [Registered business name] ("TakePrint", "we", "us"), which operates the TakePrint app and this website. By creating an account or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

2. What we do

TakePrint prints documents you upload and either delivers them to an address you give us or holds them for pickup. We print what you send, as you configure it. We do not proofread, reformat, edit or design your documents, and we are not responsible for errors, missing pages or layout problems that exist in the file you uploaded.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure.
• You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order.
• The information you give us — especially the delivery address and phone number — must be accurate. We are not responsible for a parcel delivered to an address you entered incorrectly.

4. Your files and what may be printed

You keep all rights in the documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and print them for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not use your documents for anything else.

By uploading a file you confirm that:

• you own it, or have the right to have it printed;
• printing it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• it is not illegal, obscene, defamatory, or currency, identity documents or other material whose reproduction is restricted by law;
• it does not contain malware.

We may refuse or cancel any order whose content appears to break these rules. If we refuse an order for this reason before printing, we refund it in full.

5. Placing an order

• Uploads are limited to 25 MB per PDF file.
• The app reads the page count and page size from your file to build the quote. Your order is a request to print; it is accepted when we confirm it in the app and payment succeeds.
• If a file turns out to be unprintable — corrupt, password-protected, or with no printable pages — we contact you and refund that item in full.
• Every print job is made to order and personalised to you.

6. Pricing, GST and invoices

• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and are itemised in the cart before payment. The price the app shows for your configured job is the price you pay.
• Per-page rates depend on paper size, paper weight, colour and single or double sided printing. Legal is charged at 1.2× and A3 at 2× the A4 rate.
• Binding is charged per volume of up to 140 sheets, so a long document may take more than one binding.
• GST at 18% is added at checkout and shown as a separate line.
• Enter your GSTIN at checkout to have it appear on the invoice. The invoice is available from the Track screen after the order is placed.
• Published rates may change. A change never affects an order already paid for.

7. Payment

• Payment is taken at checkout, before printing begins, through our payment provider Razorpay. UPI and card are supported.
• Card and UPI credentials are collected and held by Razorpay. We never see or store them.
• If a payment is taken but the order does not appear in your account, contact us with the payment reference and we will either create the order or refund it.

8. Shipping and delivery

Orders are printed and bound in India and shipped from there, within India and internationally. Delivery charges, turnaround, transit windows and customs are set out in full in the Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Refunds and cancellations

You can cancel free of charge until printing starts, and we reprint or refund work that is defective or does not match your order. The full rules — including what we cannot refund and how to make a claim — are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example a missed submission deadline, lost business or lost opportunity — arising from a delay or a defect.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, submits unlawful content, or attempts to abuse pricing, coupons or the refund process. You can close your account at any time from Account → Delete account & data.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [City], India.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it. We update the date at the top of this page whenever the terms change.
